He was saying according to lot of sunnis books Rasool S.A.W.W gave the order to always obey what Ali ordered and said because its just like the order of Allah and his Rasool S.A.W.W.  If someone refuse the order of Ali A.S is like the order of Allah and his Rasool S.A.W.W. Imam is not only for the governace he is also the hujjat from God on the people. Rasool a lot of time had announced during his life that Ali is my caliph after me. Jang-e-tabook is also one example. Rasool said Ali and mine example is similar to Haroon A.S and Mosa A.S only the difference is that there is no prophet after me. Rasool said Haq's second name is Ali.
