After the martyrdom Hazrat Imam Hussein (A.S), the Yazidi army burned the tents of daughters of Holy Prophet (p), looted the tents and beheaded all martyrs. Hazrat Zainab Al-Kubra (p), granddaughter of Prophet (p) and daughter of Ali (p) and Batool (p), took the responsibility of other chaste ladies and little children of Holy Prophet (p)’s family all over the night.

Today is 10 Moharramt and that day remember by the name Aashura. What is Aashura. Aashura the day when Qayamat will come. In the month of Moharram 61 AH (approx. 20 October 680 AD), an event took place in Iraq at a place is callled Kerbala. There are also other names of this land but its famous with word Karbala. It is siutated on the bank of the river Euphrates. This day is the day of grief and sadness in the history of Islam. A large army which had been mobilised by the Umayyad regime besieged a group of persons numbering less than a hundred and put them under pressure to pay allegiance to the Caliph of the time and submit to his authority. The small group resisted and a severe battle took place in which they were all killed. 


The war is not between actually Yazeed and Imam Hussain but its the war of Right and Wrong. Imam Hussain A.S himself, Ahlebait and companions sacrificed their lives only and only for Islam.
